Do you have a family member or friend who is being treated for cancer and to whom immunotherapy was proposed as a possible treatment? In that case, this motion comic might be something for you. The Ghent University Hospital and the Ghent University have developed this tool to explain in an easy, engaging way, how cancer develops, how the immune system interacts with a developing cancer, how cancer can escape the attack of the immune system, and how we can make the immune system stronger again so it will recognize, attack and kill the cancer cells. You can experience the motion comic at your own pace, by swiping from right to left to go to the next page. Ata certain point, you will get to a selection screen, at which point you can choose between the different forms of immunotherapy by clicking on one of the bottles.
In this first version of Immuno-T, three forms of immunotherapy are explained: checkpoint inhibitors, CAR T-cells and BiTes.
We are in the middle of designing a clinical trial to evaluate the effect of Immuno-T on patients. If you are interested to participate in this trial, we ask you to contact your physician. In that case, we ask you to refrain currently from watching the motion comic, and wait for confirmation of participation in the clinical trial.
We would greatly appreciate it if you would give your evaluation and feedback after watching Immuno-T, through this online form. It only takes about ten minutes to complete.

Developing a tool such as Immuno-T is expensive, very expensive. However, we want this tool to be available for free for all patients, because getting correct and clear information is very important and it needs to be available for everybody. Please SUPPORT US to aid the further development of Immuno-T and the development of similar motion comics on chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
